What does a dollar buy?

Lets start with less than $500,000.
You will easily pick up a house and 3-5 acres acres close to the Bindoon township. There are some with a brick and tile character house, there are weatherboard style homes that are even cheaper. You could buy a block of land for around $300,000 and build a custom 3x1 home for $200,000. You can pick up around 5 to 10 acres for this kind of money. If you are not in a hurry I'd recommend the land and build option. Also remember you save a lot of money and future headaches if the services such us power and water are already connected.

$500,000 - $800,000
Now your options open up somewhat. You can pick up a nice house with small acreage (5 acres) south of Bindoon throughout the Lower Chittering sub divisions. Or again head north for a lot more acreage with a basic house north Bindoon, 10 - 30 acres. I know of one block with over 200 acres and a small cottage for high $700,000s. Much of the land is bush but perfect if you are after a weekender for the kids to adventure.

$800k -$2m
Fancy around 50 - 100 acres depending on the quality of the home. You should be able to find something within the Chittering Valley of course more expensive the closer you get to Perth.

Whatever your dollars now is a great time to buy as there is a good number of properties on the market and that means a buyers market. If you would like help finding the perfect block, please call me I'd be happy to be of assistance.
